Background
“De Droomfabriek” is a treasured Flemish TV show known for its nostalgic charm and inspiring stories. When The Chinezen approached us to reimagine the show’s visual identity, we saw a chance to honor its legacy while introducing a modern, imaginative twist. Our task: create an intro and accompanying visuals that would rekindle the magic for long-time fans and a new generation alike.
the challenge
The challenge was clear: How do you capture the essence of “De Droomfabriek” while evolving its visual language for today’s audience? We needed to craft a concept that celebrated the nostalgia of the original while adding a fresh layer of creativity and whimsy. The solution had to resonate emotionally, blending timeless charm with modern storytelling.
"We aimed to capture the magic of dreams while paying homage to the nostalgia that makes ‘De Droomfabriek’ so special. Every element was crafted with care to create something timeless yet fresh.”
